Role overview

To manage the digital marketing activities for JD Poland Multi-Channel sites/devices. Managing multiple marketing channels to deliver targeted traffic and sales levels. To deliver the required growth as set out in the Multi-Channel budgets and to, at all times, seek to maximise the return on investment that the business generates from the site.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Attend all trade meetings with the global International team and Polish team and contribute to the meeting with informative and constructive information as well as taking actions to complete from the meeting.

  • Monitor sales and KPIs daily accross all JD Poland multichannel devices and traffic channels.

  • Develop a detailed knowledge of JD Poland  Multichannel trade and KPIs in order to understand targets and track performance working with the wider JD Poland Multichannel team and UK International team to ensure activity is driving the required results.

  • Complete regular competitor and market research reports deriving actions to ensure JD Poland is competitive and relevant within the market from a multichannel perspective. 

  • Liase with the JD Poland Social Media Executive to ensure there is an integration of social media within brand and influencer campaigns.

  • Complete regular KPI and trade reports using JD reports and data on JD Poland Multichannel and to feed into both the JD Poland and global International team in order to derive actions for future improvement and adjustments. 

  • Be responsible for monitoring marketing spend daily on JD Poland multichannel devices and channels to track performance ensuring spend is generating a return on investment.

  • Support the Multichannel manager and UK International Affiliate Executive with communicating to the affiliate websites to ensure maximum availabilty of information to the network.

  • Communicate and be part of calls/meetings with the UK International team regarding the planning of campaigns, training sessions and International team meetings.

  • Work closely with and maintain relationships with all digital marketing functions such as PPC, SEO, Social, CRM and Affiliates, supporting acitivity conducting on each channel.

  • Manage paid advertising through social media channels to drive traffic and sales.

  • Create email marketing briefs by working with the merchandisers, production and design teams to drive traffic and sales.

  • Ensure UK guidelines for trade and campaign execution is adhered to to ensure UK best practice is followed.

  • Working with the Group Head of CRM and the JD PolandMutlichannel Manger develop a CRM program in line with JD best practice and locally tailored to the market to effectively communicate, retain and re-engage customers on the JD Poland database.

  • Help determine the appropriate enhancements and upgrades that are required to the International Multi-Channel Marketing infrastructure to deliver the current and future needs of the International business.

  • Work with the JD Poland Multichannel team, the global International team and the JD Poland local Marketing team to devise a localised calendar covering JD campaigns, brand campaigns and localised activity.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed

  • Prior experience working in an ecommerce environment preferred but not essential.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to work as part of a small team in a fast moving environment.

  • A willingness to learn new skills.

  • Preferred experience working within the Polish market however not essential.

  • Fluent in Polish
